How does GST work on a used commercial vehicle sale?
Registered dealers sell used vehicles — including commercial vehicles — under the GST margin scheme: 18% on the difference between sale and purchase price, not the full sale value. No GST is payable on a negative-margin sale. MotorIQ calculates this automatically.
Can I attach fitness certificates and permits to a vehicle?
